God is not a Triangle

All scripture references, unless otherwise noted, are from the King James Version of the Holy Bible.
The doctrine of the Trinity says that there is one God in three persons. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost or Spirit. The Father is God, the Son is God, the Holy Ghost is God. The Father is not the Son or the Holy Ghost, the Son is not the Father or the Holy Ghost and the Holy Ghost is not the Father or the Son, yet these three are God who is one. I think Iv'e got that right. Let me say at the outset that I believe in the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, but I don't believe in the Trinity.

As I understand it, the Trinity doctrine was a compromise to satisfy the Roman Emperor Constantine. Either he or his mother became a Christian first. In any event he wanted to make Christianity the state religion but as there were several different beliefs he insisted the Bishops then present agree on a doctrine. The Trinity doctrine was the result. Per the web site https://www.biography.com/political-figure/constantine-i Constantine was not baptized until on his deathbed.

As I see it, Emperor Constantine was a carnal man who demanded the then present Bishops, who were also carnal men, to come up with a doctrine they could all agree on. The Trinity doctrine then became the doctrine of the established church and was mandated by the emperor (and the Bishops) as the doctrine that one must believe if one wanted to be saved.  The problem is that we are not saved by any particular church doctrine, whether the United Pentecostal Church or the Roman Catholic Church, but by faith in Jesus Christ. He is still the God Man and He hasn't delegated to anyone else who can be saved.
