The Key That Unlocks The Door

All scripture references, unless otherwise noted, are from the King James Version of the Holy Bible.
I am reminded of a song I heard the Urshans sing many years ago, it goes something like this;

     Where is the key to all our problems, where is the answer found?

     How do we get from here to heaven, how do we turn around?
     Somehow the door just can't be opened, until the key is found.
     There is a Locksmith up in heaven, He'll send the key right down.

       Chorus

       He has the answer to every problem.
       He has the power t make you free,
       Knock on the door and it shall be opened,
       at least the door was opened for me.

     There in the jail was Paul and Silas, with chains all wrapped around.
     They had been telling of the gospel, preaching all over town.
     But as the earth began to tremble, they were no longer bound.
     They knew a Locksmith up in heaven, He sent the key right down.

       Repeat the chorus

It has always been one of my favorite songs. If you feel defeated by the enemy, let me encourage you to ask the Lord for deliverance. Jesus said in Matthew 7:7-8, "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened." (See also Luke 11:9) The Lord Jesus will hear your prayer as long as you don't ask to, " consume it upon your lusts." (See James 4:3) The devil will tell you that because of your wrongdoing that God won't hear your prayer. But Jesus said in John 8:44 that the devil, "is a liar, and the father of it." The Lord Jesus loves you and cares for you. You can still cast all your care upon Him today. (See 1st Peter 5:7)
