(All scriptures quoted are from the King James Version of the Bible)
The Bible says in Hebrews 10:35-39, "Cast
not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For
ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might
receive the promise. For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come,
and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back,
my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back
unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul." When Jesus comes back, you won't be able to stop Him.
What?
"He that shall come will come, and will not tarry?" That is what the Bible says. Jesus Christ will return one of these days and when He comes, as the old
song says, "there will be no time to mend..." How then it behooves us
to be ready for the Lord Jesus said in His discourse in Matthew 22:42-44,
"Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. But know
this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would
come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken
up. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of
man cometh."
Jesus is
coming back! Soon. Sooner than we may think. It pays to give heed to the words
of the Lord, "Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think
not the Son of man cometh." We live in an age of unbelief. Oh, I don't
mean those that are looking for and expecting Jesus to return. But we live in
the nation that is truly the last hope of mankind in this world. President
Reagan said it well when he said that America was that, "Shining City on a
Hill" But listen to
what the Bible says in Psalm 9:17,
"The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that
forget God." The United States of America fits the description. This land
that I love. We have forgotten God. When I was a child I remember the teacher
leading us, not just in the Pledge of Allegiance but also in prayer. You might
say, "I am shocked!" Yes, we started out as a God-fearing nation.
There can be no doubt about it, the USA is headed for God's judgment. We are being turned into hell.
Do you think
it was an accident the President Obama was reelected? It was no accident.
During the first presidential debate, the president dropped the ball hard. I
don't think an incumbent president ever did so badly. Even his backers were
dismayed. Oh he did better the next two rounds but the voting public had gotten a very positive view of Mitt Romney. It was the so-called super storm Sandy that
turned the tables. Sandy was an act of God. By itself, the hurricane was not
large. Nor was the "nor'easter" that Sandy combined with. But
together they became a truly devastating storm that ravaged the Northeast U.S. In the very week before the election. The president won the election because of
the hand of God! The Bible says that God "gives kingdoms to whom He will." (See Daniel 4:17) America is no exception.
During the
inauguration which I watched over the internet, The president stated his
extreme left-wing agenda during his address to the nation. Then during the
inaugural parade a very large contingent of a homosexual marching band he had invited to play for him along with others. Mr. Obama won the election to fill up the iniquity of the USA. (You need to pray for him and our other leaders and for the USA.)
America has been a good nation and a friend of
Israel since Israel's inception. No longer. I don't know the
times or the seasons of Christ's return. (See Acts 1:7) I don't know the day or
the hour. (See Matthew 24:36) No one does, but by all the signs, Jesus' return
is eminent. The question then is, not are you a republican or conservative patriot, or are you a democrat or liberal patriot, or even are you an independent and a patriot, the question is are you ready for Jesus' soon return.
If you have never repented of your sins, do so today. If you have never obeyed the command of Apostle Peter to be baptized in Jesus name for the remission of sins, find someone to baptize you. Do it today. If you have never been baptized with the Holy Ghost, with the evidence of speaking in tongues, the promise is to you. Receive it today. (See Acts 2:1-4 and Acts 2:38) Then as someone said long ago, live for God as though He were coming today, work for Him as though He were not coming in your lifetime.
(Again, my apologies for the length of this post)
