Jesus Is Coming Soon!

All scripture references, unless otherwise noted, are from the King James Version of the Holy Bible. The Hebrew and Greek meaning of the words mentioned are from Strong's Hebrew Greek Dictionary.

Remember the song, :"He's Coming Soon" I do. However not everybody does. I was in a service in Arizona a few years ago in which the pastor's wife asked the piano player to play the song, The problem was that the piano player had never heard the song. Huh? Well the more modern music hadn't had that song in its repertoire. Some if not most of the more modern songs are ok. But I do miss some of the older songs. He's Coming Soon is one of them. Another older song that we used to sing is called, "We Shall See The King," The chorus is as follows:

  We shall see the King, we shall see the King, 

  We shall see the King when He comes;            

  He is coming in power, we'll hale the blessed hour,       

  We shall see the King when He comes. 

The last verse of that song should give us pause, it goes as follows:     

  Oh my brother are you ready for the call?

  To crown your Savior King and Lord of all?

  The kingdoms of this world shall soon before Him Fall,

  We shall see the King when He comes.

I wonder if those who are Jesus name people shall hear the Master say, "...Well done..." Matthew 25:21, or conversely, "...depart from Me..." Matthew 7:23. I certainly hope for the former possibility. Only you can answer that question.
