An Open Letter to President Obama

All scripture references, unless otherwise noted, are from the King James Version of the Holy Bible.
Dear Mr. President,

First let me say that I pray for you every day in accord with 1st Timothy 2:1-4. That having been said, let me say that Romans 1:18-32 speaks directly to you, as the leader of our nation. As you are aware, recently the Supreme Court of our nation ruled in favor of so-called gay marriage. I don't believe that the writers of the Constitution  ever intended for marriage to be decided by the Supreme Court of the United States of America. The reason I don't believe this, is that marriage is not mentioned anywhere in the founding document.

It seems to me, that two of the justices that had previously officiated at the marriage of same sex couples should have recused themselves from voting on this litigation. If they had, the outcome of the Supreme Court's vote would have been different. When people refuse the Bible standard of holiness, e.g., what God hates, (See Leviticus 20:13), the Bible says in Romans 1:26-27 that, "God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet." In Romans 1:32 the apostle made this further charge that those, "Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them." 


Mr. President, after the Supreme Court made its 5 to 4 decision, you apparently had the White House lit up with rainbow colors to show your approval of that decision. Are you aware of God's judgment, not only on them who "commit such things," but also on those who, " have pleasure in them that do them." Do you take pleasure in those who commit sodomy? There is a Supreme Judge who will bring all men and women to ultimate judgment. I don't know if there is anything that can be done to reverse the course that has been set in motion by the U.S. Supreme Court, but there is a Judge that is higher than they, who will bring us all, and all who try to thwart His judgments, to judgment.



The Preamble to the Constitution states, "We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America." By the Supreme Court of the United States ruling as they have done, and by you celebrating the decision, you and they have abrogated the meaning of the U.S. Constitution's preamble, thus making the rest of the document null and void.  I will continue to pray for you and them, and that God will show mercy on the United States of America, and grant us repentance.

    1. Sis Kelly, the posting was intended as an open letter for all to see. But because you asked and also because Sis. Dinwiddie asked the same question I thought I would send the posting to the President at the White House via White House email.
