Letting God Finish His Work In You

The Bible says in Romans 13:11 "And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed."
I love that  old song, "Oh I want to see Him, look upon His
face..."

Listen to the encouraging word of the Apostle Paul in,
Philippians 1:2-6 "Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy, For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now; Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ..."

In verse 6 the He  is none other than the Lord Jesus.
Begun: What God has started in your life. God will complete. He did not save you to lose you.
Good Work: We may not be what we should be but we are a long way from what we used to be.
Will perform: God’s promises are true, He will always keep His promise.
Until the day of Jesus Christ:  Jesus is coming again. He will have a people He has prepared for Himself and who have made themselves ready. (See Revelation 19:7)

I want to be one of them! How about you?
